RuralFira 2026 already has a date for its second edition. The family-friendly rural fair, organised by EFA La Malvesía, will return next Saturday, 9 May, with a new event designed to highlight the rural world, its trades, its products, its studies, its traditions and its capacity for innovation.
Following the excellent reception of its first edition, RuralFira returns with the aim of continuing to establish itself as one of the leading rural events in the province of Valencia. The 2025 edition, held at the EFA facilities, welcomed nearly 1,200 visitors and more than 50 exhibitors, exceeding participation expectations and becoming a major meeting point for families, students, companies and professionals from the agricultural sector and local residents.
The first edition included displays of agricultural and livestock machinery, an animal exhibition, and live workshops related to animal care, gardening, forest management and agricultural production. There were also activities such as falconry, horsemanship demonstrations, tree pruning at height and artistic chainsaw carving, as well as a wide space where visitors could learn more about the vocational training programmes offered by EFA La Malvesía and its commitment to practical training connected to the realities of the sector.
In this second edition of RuralFira, the organisers will once again focus on a programme open to all audiences, with a similar format combining a festive atmosphere, outreach, gastronomy and experiences linked to rural life. Once again, there will be activities for the whole family, popular rural breakfasts, giant paella, workshops and demonstrations, traditional games, artistic chainsaw carving, local products, a mini-farm and birds of prey, among many other attractions.
This event is made possible thanks to RuralFira’s main sponsors: Diputación de Valencia, CaixaBank Dualiza and Ribercamp.
RuralFira is presented as an opportunity to enjoy the countryside from a close, educational and participatory perspective, while also giving visibility to the work of producers, artisans, exhibitors, companies and institutions connected to the area. The fair aims to become a complete rural experience for visitors of all ages and a benchmark for rural development, highlighting agricultural education, the rural environment and educational commitment, while also strengthening the relationship between schools, companies and job opportunities in the sector.
